    • Designed and managed a 4-course menu for a large-scale event, ensuring a seamless culinary experience for approximately 250 guests

    • Coordinated with multiple stakeholders, including food chairs and the University kitchen, to assign responsibilities and oversee the execution of each dish

    • Collaborated effectively with cross-functional teams, including committee chairs and directors, to achieve the event's objectives

    • Utilized strong leadership and team management skills to assess volunteer capabilities and allocate tasks efficiently for event preparation and cooking

VSA has been such a vital part of my college experience, growth, and self-development. I grew up in spaces that did not allow me to fully appreciate Vietnamese culture. It wasn't until coming to college, I was invited by my now role models and friends to a space that would allow me to hold and nourish my Vietnamese identity. This club has not only given me space to explore and validate the undiscovered parts of myself but how and what it means to be in a community with others. Through the seasons of college, from freshman year to now, I have had the pleasure of witnessing this club grow in love and community. I am constantly in awe and inspired by all the talented, driven, and kind creatives, leaders, and all individuals here in VSA. As I continue to propel myself forward in life beyond college, these memories, lessons, and beautiful faces in this community will always be held close to my heart.
